Guidance Care Center

Guidance Care Center is located at 99198 Overseas Highway, Suite 5. The facility serves men, women, children and families. They provided services to more than 1400 people in the Key Largo area in 2014 and maintain a staff of over 100. The facility includes a residential substance abuse and detoxification unit with two long-term, psychiatric beds and 12 long-term substance abuse beds. GCC also runs a school-based substance abuse prevention program and works with area teachers, school resource officers and parents to help at-risk youth.

Transitions

Transitions has been serving the Key Largo and South Florida area since 1985. They can be found at 1928 Northeast 154th Street. The facility welcomes male and female adults seeking treatment for drug and alcohol recovery, depression, eating disorders, sexual addiction, abuse and trauma and duel diagnoses. Transitions Recovery Program is accredited by the Joint Commission.

Unity Recovery Center

Unity Recovery Center is a progressive treatment facility that incorporates both holistic and traditional treatment methods. It is located at 11900 Southwest Federal Highway #212 in Hobe Sound and serves the Key Largo area. Fitness, nutrition and holistic pain-management techniques are included in treatment plans according to each patients preferences and needs. The program serves adult men and women through multi-disciplinary programs to treat gambling addiction, alcohol and drug dependency, sex addictions, eating disorders and dual diagnoses. Intensive group therapy, 12-step meetings, psychiatric and medical care and daily meditation are some of the modalities available to patients at Unity.
