Ms. Teixeira is President and Chief Executive Officer of Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD). The national non-profit provides peer-to-peer education, prevention, and activism to prevent destructive decisions — particularly underage drinking, drug abuse, risky and impaired driving, teen violence and suicide. Ms. Teixeira is a founding member of Homes for Our Troops, which offers specially-adapted, mortgage-free homes to the nation’s most severely wounded veterans and their families.
