Policies vary by facility, but many rehab centers do not allow the use of personal electronics. The goal is to fully concentrate on the work of recovery, without distractions. Many facilities offer recreational programs, wellness centers and field trips to keep clients engaged and healthy, outside of medical and therapeutic treatments.
Some executive or luxury rehab centers do allow limited use of cell phones and computers. Check with the admissions counselors about the center’s policies.
